TLC Bid Works was founded by Lanka Vitharanage, a senior bid professional with over 15 years of experience leading complex, high-value tenders across healthcare, central government, local authorities, and the private sector.

Before launching TLC Bid Works, Lanka spent more than a decade building and leading successful bid teams, including as Head of Bid Management at a major healthcare staffing provider. There, he transformed an underperforming function into a high-performing unit that consistently secured places on national NHS frameworks and delivered millions in contract wins.

His track record includes a 100% success rate on framework bids since 2015, a win rate of over 75% across the past decade, and a 100% bid win rate in 2024. That level of consistency now underpins the work TLC Bid Works delivers for every client.

Lanka also holds a First Class Honours Degree in Aircraft Engineering (BEng Hon), a foundation that shaped his analytical mindset, attention to detail, and disciplined approach to high-stakes bid work.
